Effective June 12th, 2024, Air India is implementing a significant change regarding the Reservation Booking Designator (RBD) for connecting sectors.
Highlights:
· The airline is transitioning to a new revenue management system based on the origin destination (OD) approach.
· With this change, passengers will be able to book both the international and domestic sectors using the Prime RBD.
· Prior to this change the RBD on the connecting sector differed from the Prime RBD.
· The new system simplifies the process by allowing the entire booking to be made using the Prime RBD.

1.Air Canada has issued a Goodwill Policy to offer flexible rebooking and refund options due to the situation in Israel.
2.British Airways delighted to announce the expansion of our long haul Basic (Hand Baggage Only) economy fares from India point of sale to all BA points. The new fare supports our focus on customers’ flexibility in booking with British Airways. Our long haul Basic Economy fare is available in all booking classes (except Y class) in the World Traveller economy cabin. Please refer to your GDS for fare brand details.
